The annual N-Peace Awards celebrate the dedicated men and women working to build peace and empower their communities at the local and national levels across Indonesia, Pakistan, Myanmar, Nepal, Afghanistan, and the Philippines. Winners will be recognized for three different categories:
Untold Stories – Women Transforming their Communities
This category highlights grassroots women who are champions of peace within their communities. There will be one winner from each of the six participating countries.
Campaigning for Action – Women and Men Mobilizing for Peace
This category recognizes both women and men whose national-level mobilization and advocacy efforts have resulted in the advancement of women, peace and security issues. There will be one female and one male winner.
The Peace Generation – Young Women and Men Building Peace
This category is open to both women and men aged under 30 years. Here we celebrate young people whose work for transformation in conflict, post-conflict or fragile communities or countries has resulted in the advancement of women, peace and security issues.
