The Women’s Center for Legal Aid and Counseling (WCLAC), a Palestinian non-governmental organization and ICAN partner, has been documenting the terror as experienced by women in Gaza over the past few days.

Here is a link to the story of one mother who described what happened to her last night when her family received a recorded telephone call in the middle of the night from the Israeli army telling them to leave.

“My husband and I decided to ignore the message because we could hear explosions all around us outside and thought it would be much more dangerous to go out. Also, where are we supposed to go?”

Here is a link to the story of another mother who described what happened to her family when her neighbourhood was bombed by an F16 war plane as she was preparing a meal to break the fast. She says, “This is what my life in Gaza is like: fear and no sense of security. We live in sheer terror.”
